NEW MOON IN GEMINI: SACRED BREATH / SACRED MARRIAGE

Blessings on this New Moon in Gemini!

Gemini corresponds to The Lovers in the Tarot. Esoterically, the symbolism relates to the balancing of masculine and feminine energies under the auspices of spirit. This is the Hieros Gamos, or “Sacred Marriage”.

What will be highlighted at this time is where the masculine and feminine are in harmonious union, and where this balance is missing. Aspects of relationships that no longer serve our higher purpose will need to be realigned, or relinquished.

Gemini also relates to breath and communication. Remember that all words are sacred and we profane this gift when we use our speech to bring harm to ourselves, through our inner dialogue, or to others.

Healing Our Fractured Soul

Powerful transits are building that will continue through the end of September. They encompass the New Moon Solar Eclipse in Virgo on September 1, 2016, the Full Moon Lunar Eclipse on September 16, 2016 (Sun in Virgo, Moon in Pisces), as well as the Fall Equinox on September 22, 2016.

Be extremely careful that conflict does not escalate into violence. This could happen quite suddenly, and unexpectedly. Old wounds around conflict and violence might surface. There is a tremendous opportunity for healing here, as well, if the energies are utilized appropriately.

Established structures might become flooded, and overwhelmed. This could occur either outwardly and/or inwardly.

Our safe space might become compromised. This is especially true around September 2, 3, and 4, 2016.

I’ve rarely seen this level challenging transits all at once. Be especially gentle with yourself and others.

There will be a full moon lunar eclipse on March 23, 2016. This one will be powerful!

LUNAR ECLIPSE TIMES:

05:02 a.m. PST (Los Angeles)

12:02 p.m. UTC (London)

08:02 a.m EST (New York)

11:02 p.m. AEDT (Sydney)

05:32 p.m. IST (Delhi)

HANDS OF THE COSMIC CLOCK:

The Sun will be in Aries (God of War) and the Moon will be in Libra (Harmony). Conflict and the resolution of conflict are major themes for this full moon. It will be necessary to be assertive, and take decisive action, in order to re-establish emotional equilibrium.

Chiron (The Wounded-Healer) and Ceres (The Nurturing Mother) will be together with the South Node (Unfinished business from the past), opposing the North Node (The direction of our future). Issues may come up around motherhood, parenting, child support, child custody, child visitation, nurturance, nourishment. Remember to take time for self-care, even while you are caring for others. We must heal the past in order to heal the future.

Pallas Athena (Goddess of Diplomacy) will be opposing Astraea (Goddess of Justice). Legal issues are prominent. The scales of justice seek balance. We must pay the piper. “Render unto Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and unto God the things that are God’s.”

These tensions will be reflected within the consciousness of Humanity. If you have any points in your birth chart that connect directly with the aspects above, then these tensions will likely manifest within your life experience as significant opportunities for soul growth related to the keywords outlined above. The best way to determine if this is true is to have an astrologer run your birth chart and then check to see where these current astrological transits fall within it.
